Five new probe regions

Monitors can now be checked from five more places: Johannesburg, Sydney, Tokyo, London and Dallas. Johannesburg is our first probe region in Africa and Sydney our first in Oceania. Tokyo gives Japan and Korea a nearer vantage point than Singapore, London covers the UK, and Dallas fills the middle of the US between San Jose and New York. With them the hosted service checks from eleven regions.

Opt-in. New monitors still start in New York, Frankfurt and Helsinki. Tick a new region on the monitor form, or pass its id in regions through the REST API: af-za, apac-au, apac-jp, eu-london or us-central. Existing monitors keep their regions until you add one.

Plans. Standard runs a monitor from up to three regions and Founding from up to five, any you choose. Pro and Team have no region cap. Past your plan's count, adding a new region means unticking another.
